Why list with Phil Weir and Ana Svoboda?
Without too much self-promotion, here are eight reasons why
you should use us and our company.
1. We are very hard working people. We work 6 to 7
days a week, 8 to 10 hour days. Phil is married to a wonderful
woman from Roatan named Pati, has two children named Ashley
and Robbie while Ana was born in La Ceiba, Honduras, graduted
from University in the USA and is one the most active people
in the Roatan community.
2. We are extremely productive, Phil opened his office
on Roatan in mid 2002 and has consistently been in the top
5 of all realtors in sales on Roatan while Ana has worked
for a variety of major companies in Roatan.
3. We have Credibility. Phil has been in real estate
sales for over 30 years, having first started selling real
estate in Aspen, Colorado in 1977. He worked for Coates, Reid,
and Waldron, Aspen's Premier real estate company. In his final
year of sales in Aspen (1989-90), he sold over 12 million
dollars in real estate. He currently holds a Colorado Brokers
License and is an Associate Broker with Morris and Fyrwald
Real Estate in Aspen, Colorado. Phil has also been licensed
as a Broker in Georgia where he sold real estate for Reynolds
Plantation, as well as in West Virginia where he sold real
estate at the prestigious Greenbrier. So you can see that
he has years of experience selling resort real estate. We
are members of ANABIR, the Honduran Board of Realtors, which
is affiliated with the National Association of Realtors in
the US and we are both actice members of the Roatan Realtors
Association.
4. We have much island experience.
Phil has lived in the Bay Islands for 15 years, having first
lived in Cayos Cochinos for two years and then moving to Roatan
in 1993. He went to work for Anthony's Key Resort and started
their scuba school at that time. In 1997, he became a PADI
Course Director and have been teaching Instructor Development
Courses ever since. Having had the good fortune to have these
great years of experience working with the island people,
Phil has gained much knowledge on how Roatan works and has
made many friends and great connections.
While Ana was raised in La Ceiba, Honduras where she studied
General Accounting until winning a Fullbright Scholarship
to study Business Administration and Finance in the USA. She
graduated from Lincoln University in Jefferson City, Missouri
and has lived in Roatan for 15 years. Ana has worked with
companies like G & S Industries, Roatan Materials, South
Seas Development & Parrot Tree Plantation and is actively
involved with the following organizations: BI Chamber of Commerce,
RRA, Canaturh-Bay Islands, Roatan Women's Club, Benefit for
the Angels, ROAR, Security Commission, CANABIRH, Sacred Heart
of Mary Catholic Church Committee to name a few.
5. We have great office locations. Roatan Life has
an office at Coral Stone Plaza in Sandy Bay and another office
in West Bay Mall where we also have a property management
company.
6. We will communicate regularly with you regarding
marketing, showing activity and broker and purchaser reaction-
pro and con.
7. We feel we are superior listors of property, meaning
we take seriously the numerous details both tedious and minute
to insure maximum exposure of your listing to both potential
purchasers and cooperating real estate offices and brokers
everywhere. Some of these details include proper notification
of your listings to the MLS, notices to all brokers regarding
