Why list with Phil Weir?
Without too much self-promotion, here are eight reasons why
you should use me and our company.
1. I am a very hard working people. I work 6 to 7
days a week, 8 to 10 hour days. I am married to a wonderful
woman from Roatan named Pati, have two children named Ashley
and Robbie.
2. I am extremely productive, I opened my office
on Roatan in mid 2002 and have consistently been in the top
5 of all realtors in sales on Roatan.
3. I have Credibility. I have been in real estate
sales for over 30 years, having first started selling real
estate in Aspen, Colorado in 1977. I worked for Coates, Reid,
and Waldron, Aspen's Premier real estate company. In my final
year of sales in Aspen (1989-90),I sold over 12 million
dollars in real estate. I currently hold a Colorado Brokers
License and I am an Associate Broker with Morris and Fyrwald
Real Estate in Aspen, Colorado. I have also been licensed
as a Broker in Georgia where I sold real estate for Reynolds
Plantation, as well as in West Virginia where I sold real
estate at the prestigious Greenbrier. So you can see that
I have years of experience selling resort real estate. I
am a member of ANABIR, the Honduran Board of Realtors, which
is affiliated with the National Association of Realtors in
the US and I am an actice member of the Roatan Realtors
Association.
4. I have much island experience.
I have lived in the Bay Islands for 15 years, having first
lived in Cayos Cochinos for two years and then moving to Roatan
in 1993. I went to work for Anthony's Key Resort and started
their scuba school at that time. In 1997, I became a PADI
Course Director and have been teaching Instructor Development
Courses ever since. Having had the good fortune to have these
great years of experience working with the island people,
l have gained much knowledge on how Roatan works and have
made many friends and great connections.
5. I have great office locations. Roatan Life has
an office at Coral Stone Plaza in Sandy Bay and another office
in West Bay Mall where we also have a property management
company.
6. I will communicate regularly with you regarding
marketing, showing activity and broker and purchaser reaction-
pro and con.
7. I feel I am a superior listor of property, meaning
I take seriously the numerous details both tedious and minute
to insure maximum exposure of your listing to both potential
purchasers and cooperating real estate offices and brokers
everywhere. Some of these details include proper notification
of your listings to the MLS, notices to all brokers regarding
this opportunity, proper showing instructions, color brochures,
fact sheets and sales packages, cooperation with all other
brokers to further ensure easy understanding of the property
and "easy as possible" showing procedures, effective
and maximum advertising and full follow-up with brokers and
customers regarding showings for accurate feedback to you.
8. I am a full-time Realtor. Because of the unique
nature of your property and the competition in today's
